Easy HEALTHY quinoa recipes with no weird, obscure or expensive ingredients?


I don’t have enough money to spend on random ingredients like silverbeet or truffles, or foie gras.
Please contribute some recipes that have fairly easy to get ingredients that are healthy and don’t take to long to cook?

just boil it as the package directs, and season with salt, pepper, and a dab of butter. use it as a bed to serve whatever your protein is in the meal – sauteed beef tips and mushrooms, baked tofu, curry, etc. you can also make your favorite meat or veggie loaf recipe and substitute the quinoa for the flour or oats (binders) in the recipe. my favorite is to eat a bowl of it for breakfast or lunch, topped with a fried or poached egg. simple is best!

you can use quinoa in ANY recipe that calls for rice. No need for special recipes.
